i have long straight hair and have a round face. which would look better, razor or scissor cut layers?

I'de say scissor cut layers. I think razoring it thins your hair out and people with round faces tend to look better with thicker hair, because it makes your face look more oval shaped.

I'm just kind of guessing though.

Do it yourself in his sleep. Only joking. I would stop saying things to him and let him get on with it. My brother used to have horrible long frizzy hair, everyone hated it and were always telling him to get it cut. When we all gave up he finally got it cut. Bizzare!!!

I go every 18 months to 2 years - my hairdresser loves it as my hair grows about 10 inches between visits and she gets to hack it all off! If I wanted to keep a style I'd have to go every 3-4 weeks my hair grows so fast and you're right - who can afford that???

ok, it really depends on the length of your hair.

if you have hair that goes to your shoulders or just a bit past cut it to right at your shoulders with tons of short choppy layers! cut thick side-swept bangs.

for colours, if u have dark hair bleach the tips of your bangs, that looks scene, and u can also play with the colours, non permenent colours like purple, pink, blue, yellow[looks really cool], turcouise...

if you have longer hair that goes to at least the bottom of your shoulderblades, keep that bottom layer long and cut the rest of it into short choppy layers like this...

again side bangs are really important!

for colouring on this, u can to the same think with the bangs plus u can bleach the bottom layer and also dye that different colours.

if u have blond hair, just dye it colours randomly like this

I LOVE this one! And you can pretty much do any color with it. I have a cut just like that and i have black hair with blonde streaks, and i dye the streaks different colors with manic panic. Its really cool, because the have so many colors, and it washes out in about 2 weeks, i change mine all the time. Hope i Helped!!

I like long, straight hair But.... I can understand that it can sometimes feel kinda boring for a girl. So I say that you should just go on ahead and cut it to shoulder length with some wisps (I absolutely Love wisps, melt, melt). As long as YOU are happy with it then nothing else should matter. Just don't let your hairdresser "go crazy" and make you look "butch", That would be sad.
