Getting my hair cut the day before school?

Well, my mother decided to get my hair appointment for school the DAY BEFORE school starts. I have no clue how I should get it cut. I have long hair about 2'' past my shoulder blades. I got it layered back in May so I guess it grew out but anyways. I have long bangs that blend in with the layers and I like that. I have an oval face btw.

Soo any hair style suggestions and if so how should I style it the day of school lol.

I don't think you should do anything DRASTIC the DAY BEFORE SCHOOL! I'm not saying you should chicken out either...ya gotta take some risks in life! I think getting it layered again would be a wise choice. Maybe even get a perm!

please dont cut it before school the hair dresser night make a mistake and take off too much hair and you wont have any time to grow it back ,youll be going to school looking like a train wreck

well, I think you should get it cut like a little below your shoulders. but show the hair stylist! i said that and they cut it shorter then that.. GRR anyways, and get layers so you could do something cute with it !

Sounds like you have a specific salon picked out already, but here is my suggestion anyways:

go on Yahoo's main search engine and look up local salons in your area and find on the main search results page the reviews of those places. Find one with great reviews (unless you're happy with where you're going to)... that to me is the most important part... next, if you want to find a style go through tons of fashion type magazines and look at celebrities with your face shape and see what looks good on them...

Also, I just went and had my hair cut/styled and highlighted and when she asked what I wanted I told her I didn't know and asked what she would suggest with my skin color and face shape and it is perfect. The place I go to is a really nice salon, so I trust her judgment. That's why I told you that you should research good salons in your area...
