Im getting my haircut tomorrow and theres this girl my friend knows and i really like her hair cut what type of haircut is this or how do explain to the lady without showing her the pictures:

ps:my hair is her color and i part my hair in the middle (which i dont want to do any more hence the picture) and long like mid back

Long with lots of layers and long sweeping bangs.

And then just show your stylist how long you want it to be and how long you want the shortest layers to be. And tell her/him which side you want your hair parted on.

i would suggest showing the pics because if you describe it you may end up with a cut you don't like. but it is basically long layers with side-swept bangs. i'm not a hair expert though...

Take the picture with you. I have the same hair cut and it took me several bad cuts to finally explain what I wanted. Its called "long layers" but if you have the picture they will be able to see how short you really want that top layer. Good luck.

Why don't you just take the picture? It is much easier on hairdressers if they are able to see what your talking about.

This is long layers with a long bang sweep to the side.....stress long layers to the stylist.

You should show the pic. If you don't and go on describing it, you might end up with a nasty haircut. It happened to me. Now I always take a pic when i get my hair done. Good Luck!
