How should I cut my curly hair?

Ok so I have wavy/ curly hair, it reaches my mid back when I leave it out. And I want to get it cut..but I'm not sure what kind of hair cut would look good. I have and oval face and i was thinking that if i layered it ( my shortest layer being about one inch below my chin ) it wouldn't look too bad. Does anyone have any other suggestions or advice?? PLS HELP %26lt;3

my mum has curly hair in the style you described and it looks great.. she also has layers cut through underneath as well as on the top becsause she has really thick hair..

her hairdresser does this thing where she takes a chunk of hair and twirls it around her finger so that it all twists together and then takes the scissors along the egde of the twist of hair.. this looks great in curly hair.. but my hair is kinda wavy and it works for me too..

to avoid any disasters make sure you get it cut at least a week before you go back to school.. and make sure your hairdresser knows what he/she is doing.. talk through what you want with them first.. they may also have some ideas for what would look good in your hair.. perhaps ask them when you go to book the appointment.. this will give you time to think about it..

My sister and I both have curly, fine hair and when we get it cut, we both always get our hair layered. I would definitely go with long layers and a just a couple of them. You don't want to get short layers because it will make your curly hair too puffy. Good luck.

Well I don't don't really know cause I don't know what you look like! lol But I think short curly hair is really cute kinda like the old Meg Ryan look. I'm not sure about getting it layered though. No one here can really tell you with out knowing you and how you look.

I have thick curly hair.. I would suggest getting it cut so it sits on top of your boobs..lol.. but then get it thinned a little bit.. get a couple layers.. not too many.. then get bangs that like.. swoop to the side.. i think u kno what ones im talking about and then straighten them.. i would aussie sprunch (basically its a spray, like hairspray, and u just scrunch your hair, it works really well on mine, i love it :])

i also like to put all my hair to one side and put it in a loose ponytail with like.. the ponytail an inch or soo above the end of my hair. it looks really cute..
