Ok I want to see how my hair will look almost to my shoulders. I want about 2 inches cut off. But I have layers. Does that matter?

no not really, just tell the hair stylist that you have layers and whether or not you'll still want layers once she/he cuts it. they know what they're doing. even at like hair cuttery

No. I have layers (like a lot!) and I just recently got my hair cut shorter and it was fine! If you find a good professional then all will be okay!
